Natasha Thahane is a South African actress best known for her recurring role as Enhle on the SABC1 soapie Skeem Saam. Making her first Skeem Saam appearance on 26 January 2015, she left the show in July 2016 to take up her first starring role in television, as the character Amo Maake in the Mzansi Magic telenovela The Queen. She first appeared on television in a commercial clothing chain for Edgars, in 2013. Other television commercials she has acted in include clients like ABSA, Always Ultra, McDonald's and Steers. She also did a print campaign for Ponds. Natasha made her screen acting debut as the character Claire in a Season 5 episode of the e.tv anthology series eKasi: Our Stories, entitled "Drama King", which first aired on Monday 24 March, 2014. Her next appearance was a month later in the small guest role of Thuli in an episode of the SABC1 sitcom Single Galz, produced by Quizzical Pictures as a spin-off from their series Single Guys. In August 2014 she appeared on the Mzansi Magic drama series Saints and Sinners playing the role of Fundiswa. Season 1 and 2. Natasha got her big break when she landed the role of Enhle on Skeem Saam in early 2015, joining the show at the same time as Jama (Oros Mampofu), Sakhile (Sipho Nicolas Nkuna) and EmKay (Mlungisi Mathe). The same year she had a second role in eKasi: Our Stories as Nomsa, in the episode entitled "uManqoba" (Season 6, Episode 18), which aired on 24 March, 2015. On Wednesday 27 April, 2016 she guest starred as Unathi on the third season of the SABC1 sitcom Ses'Top La. She appeared in two of Areece's music videos. Mgani and Sebenza ft Amanda Black. She ended her run on Skeem Saam in July 2016, when it was announced she had landed her first starring role in television as Amo Maake on the Mzansi Magic telenovela The Queen, created and produced by fellow series stars Connie and Shona Ferguson from Ferguson Films. She recently did a sitcom with David Kau and Mark Banks, which she found challenging because she is not a comedian. She is currently studying at the New York Film Academy.
